Southern Tasmania not only has a lot to see but much to do as well. Events during the year include exciting billycart championships, open vineyards and winery days, floral shows in September, the National Mountain Bike Series held in November and of course the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race launched every Boxing Day, as well as the Hobart Summer Festival and Taste of Tasmania Festival held early each year.
