Join the Governor of Queensland, Her Excellency Ms Penelope Wensley AO, and Mr Stuart McCosker at Government House Queensland to celebrate Queensland Day and Queensland's 150th Anniversary at an Open Day on Saturday, 6 June 2009, from 10.00 a.m. To 3.00 p.m.

Take a tour of historic Government House, see the gardens in all their splendour on a guided tour, take a bushwalk through the natural vegetation, learn more about community organisations at a community fair, view the historic displays, buy a sausage from the sausage sizzle, or bring a picnic and settle on the lawns for musical entertainment. No on-site parking available. Event will be cancelled in wet weather.
